Make-Up Bags: Purple Flowers

“God gave me a gift and through the work of my hands I continuously offer it back to Him.”

From an early age I knew that the Lord had placed a beautiful gift of creativity in my heart. As a child on our family farm I was seldom without my sketchbook and pencil, and yet during adulthood I followed different paths – none of which truly satisfied my innate desire for creative expression.

One night I was awakened with these words ringing in my soul “Do not let your talent go to waste…” I prayed and asked the Lord to lead me on my creative journey and it was around 2015 that I first fell in love with painting. With a paintbrush in hand, my soul became alive and I felt closer than ever to my Creator. I have been painting ever since.

It is my deepest desire to glorify my Lord through each piece of art that I create. May my art inspire you to truly see how creation testifies to the handiwork of the one, true Artist. May my work touch your heart, bring you hope and remind you that with God nothing is impossible. May my art testify of joy and beauty in a sometimes dark and discouraging world.
